I live near a suburb of Philadelphia, King of Prussia, that is home to one of the largest shopping malls in America, the King of Prussia Mall. Because of this very fortunate circumstance, I have a very well stocked J.Crew store at my disposable.
I love anything and everything J.Crew. My personal shopper, Matt, knows me by a first name basis. He is quick to email and call me when new merchandise comes into the store and sets everything aside in my size. With my J.Crew credit card number handy, Matt charges and ships or puts my goodies aside. It’s a great system where I am privy to most of the (about to be) sold out pieces and J.Crew Collection items first.
With that said, I absolutely adore J.Crew. As a recent college graduate who studied public and corporate communications, I wanted to start this blog so that other avid J.Crew lovers out there have a place to come and discuss all things J.Crew. Let the sharing begin!

Some may say that I am late in the game with the introduction of my blog, JCrewAholics, into the blogosphere. The fact of the matter is it’s never too late to start doing something you’ve always wanted to. As a recent college grad who is learning the ropes of using social media, I believe that a J.Crew blog will allow me to reach an audience while discussing my favorite shopping passion, J.Crew.
It’s very easy to take a concept and imitate it and be just another boring blog about clothes. But it’s difficult to take a concept, manipulate it, change it, and churn out a more useful and efficient product. This is what I intend to do. With the help of my boyfriend, a web developer who is willing to lend some freelance time to me, I intend to shape J.CrewAholics into a platform for sharing all things J.Crew.
Here are some of the features that you can look forward to seeing:
- Special features on J.Crew items
- Sneak peeks into the inner workings of J.Crew
- A forum solely designated to the buying & selling of J.Crew items
- Monthly J.Crew giveaways to blog subscribers
So please, stop by. Have a look and if my blog piques your interest, you can subscribe via the RSS feeds listed in the sidebar of this blog. You’ll get automatic updates via email or your reader.
