If you love the Silk-ribbon chain-link necklace from J.Crew, Forever 21 has a similar version for much less. Hey, nothing wrong with saving a few dollars here and there!

Yeah, the only problem is that Forever 21 jewelry turns my skin green.

Wow, those look almost identical. While I’m sure the JC necklace is probably better in material/quality in some respects, they still charge *way too much* for their jewelry. But props for them designing things that F21 can rip off.

so funny u posted this. i was on forever21 website last night saw the neckalce and went in to buy it today. so far so good. in my opinion it looks exactly like it. the chains even hang in the same pattern. great buy for the $

tried F21 but didn’t find the right chain found $12.50 chain at target that could work, but luckily went into Jcrew yesterday for the 20% off final sale and the necklace was $29.99!!!! so got it for around $24!!! it’s the black ribboned version – really wanted the peach, but wasn’t spend $69.99 on it. I figured the amount of time I’d spend looking for the right ribbon for my target version was worth spending the little extra!!! note for DIYers I do think you need a nice soft ribbon to make the necklace work jcrew’s ribbon is really more like a strip of fabric

Purchased this necklace while vacationing in NY…I bought the tropical aqua & black….I must say this ribbon tie is driving me crazy…I am still trying to make bow as pretty as they are in pics…..
