If you love the Silk-ribbon chain-link necklace from J.Crew, Forever 21 has a similar version for much less. Hey, nothing wrong with saving a few dollars here and there!

Posted in Behind the Scenes Wow, those look almost identical. While I’m sure the JC necklace is probably better in material/quality in some respects, they still charge *way too much* for their jewelry. But props for them designing things that F21 can rip off.

robin says: tried F21 but didn’t find the right chain found $12.50 chain at target that could work, but luckily went into Jcrew yesterday for the 20% off final sale and the necklace was $29.99!!!! so got it for around $24!!! it’s the black ribboned version – really wanted the peach, but wasn’t spend $69.99 on it. I figured the amount of time I’d spend looking for the right ribbon for my target version was worth spending the little extra!!! note for DIYers I do think you need a nice soft ribbon to make the necklace work jcrew’s ribbon is really more like a strip of fabric
Purchased this necklace while vacationing in NY…I bought the tropical aqua & black….I must say this ribbon tie is driving me crazy…I am still trying to make bow as pretty as they are in pics…..
