I was in my J.Crew store in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania looking for the new October arrivals to try on. I was disappointed to see that there were no new items! This is the first time that this J.Crew store did not have the new arrivals out and ready to be tried on.
I spoke with a sales associate who told me the items from the October arrivals were in the back stock room. They were not yet on the sales floor because the store was going to be closed for the next three days, starting Monday.
The store in the King of Prussia Mall has been renovating for the last month or so. They knocked down walls and added more fitting rooms. Now, they needed to close the store entirely to add the finishing touches. The sales associate also told me that the store is such a high volume store that the company can not afford to close it down for a longer period of time.
I am excited to see a brand new store. I wonder what will be different. I wonder what other changes to expect.
