Purchase Dulken & Derrick Flower Pins (As Seen at J.Crew) Last fall, J.Crew collaborated with Dulken & Derrick and carried some great flower pins. The pins were used for the styling in the October catalog.

Shoppers anxiously awaited the opportunity to purchase the pins online only to find they were SOLD OUT! One J.CrewAholic even bought some pins directly from Dulken & Derrick.

In this month’s J.Crew catalog, flowers were also used in the styling. J.Crew says:

We used these one-of-a-kind flowers just for our shoot-we simply couldn’t resist (not available for purchase).

Their website is horrible & looks a little shady. You really can’t see the flowers at all, especially the black ones.

The owner of the website wrote me a very nice email before I decided to post this. Please read below:

As a fellow J. Crew fan, I fell in love with the vintage flower pins that J. Crew had styled onto many of the outfits in the October 2008 catalog. In fact, I kept this particular catalog and still admire the pictures. I, like many other fans, tried to purchase these flowers but never saw them available online. Well, I just wanted you all to know that I am now proudly selling Dulkin and Derrick Vintage Flower Pins on my Blue Onion Marketplace website. I have been a fan of flower pins since Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City made them famous. Well, the J.Crew ones sold out in about 5 seconds and there all sorts of urban legends about how many were available and the full story. Imagine my delight when I received an email this weekend from Michele Syre, owner of Blue Onion Marketplace, that she is selling the Dulken & Derrick handmade flower pins as seen on J.Crew and Sex and the City.
