Artist Alex Katz Featured in J.Crew Catalog

In the current Mens J.Crew catalog, artist Alex Katz can be seen gracing the pages. Katz is an 81-year-old American artist known for his paintings, sculptures, and prints. Please view his website at AlexKatz.com.

Lauren Hutton (view her website at LaurenHutton.com) also graced the cover of last month’s J.Crew catalog. This month, she is also featured in a spread where she is wearing the toothpick jeans!

I love how J.Crew is featuring two American icons, Lauren Hutton and Alex Katz in their current “America” themed catalog.

How great to see images of Alex Katz…an Icon, displayed in an advertising mode, by another American Icon…now that’s Post Pop Art.
