New Arrivals & Iceland Catalog at J.Crew

J.Crew updated its website this morning with new arrivals. The new catalog which is shot in a wintry location is also available to view online. Please click here to view the catalog.

I, for one, am still in shock that is already December and there are only 20 days until Christmas. I can’t believe the holidays came around so around quickly. I just don’t feel prepared!

Luckily, J.Crew is going to help get me there. The catalog and the new items are so cheerful and bright for the holidays.

What are some of the new arrivals that caught your eye? I have listed a few of my favorites below. All of these pieces will be great for holiday parties.

Super cute! Love the polka dote cami & the new fuschia dress too. Lots of cute new stuff.

  2. ann says:

Thanks for the post on the new items…I was kinda excited about the jean jacket until I went online and saw that it has holes in it:( Bummer. Just not into a jacket with holes in it……

  3. Aasha says:

I was very happy to see some new items, as well as markdowns on some ‘new arrivals’ I’ve been wanting :) I think there are some cute things incl some nice new styles of cashmere…..

  4. Stacie says:

I really like the Eva dress, it reminds me of a dress at Banana Republic right now but more casual – which is good for me! Great starting price too! The cherie cami is also really pretty.

I have been to Iceland and the pix don’t even capture how beautiful it is. What a good idea for a shoot. I love the new arrivals but I’m still trying to decide on the previous arrivals. Loving the stuff that finally went on sale.

  6. Julie says:

Can anyone comment on the fit of the pencil skirts…they are high waisted compared to my other JCrew skirts…

  7. Pook says:

I find the pencil skirts fit TTS. I have many JCrew skirts in a variety of styles: mini, a-line, pencil, long… The higher waist doesn’t change the sizing for me at all. I love the sleek look of the pencil skirts. So classic and feminine.

  8. Julie says:

I finally got the actual garment measurements for the pencil skirts I am interested in…I will have to size up…

  9. Roxy says:

Does anyone else’s catalog cover look different? I have the boat but my J.Crew lettering is much bigger, silver and embossed into the cover. Just curious, I don’t think it’s any different.

  10. Roxy says:

Different on the inside, to clarify my last sentence. ;)

  11. Leigh says:

Hi Roxy. I have not received the catalog yet. Can you take a picture of it and send to leigh @ jcrewaholics.com? Thanks!

  12. Christyn says:

Still haven’t gotten the new catalog (haven’t gotten the november or december catalog either…anyone else in the same boat?) but I’m excited to look at it if I ever get the chance. From looking online, I really like the Ava dress too–just wish it came in more than just pink and navy. I also like the Nicky skirt, but again, wish it came in more subtle colors!

  13. Christyn says:

Also…Ann–I’m with you on the jacket! Not loving the holes or the weird fade thing going on in the back!

  14. ann says:

    Christyn–

glad it is just now me…I noticed the weird fade thing first and then the holes…both did me in…oh well, maybe a “nicer” jean jacket will appear in the spring…

  15. ann says:

    OOPS…NOT instead of now

  16. Anne says:

Has anyone tried on the new Ava dress or seen it IRL? I love it, but am wondering if it fits TTS. Also would it look good on a pear shape? So far the jcrew dresses that look great on my figure have been size 6 in the abstract-print strapless dress, the marina stripe dress and the watercolor floral madison dress. The items that were horrible on me were the cliffrose blouson dress, the georgia shift dress and the michelle dress. I need something that defines my best asset (my waist). I would love to hear back from people. Many thanks.

  17. Anne says:

Oh and I almost forgot to mention that the metallic daisy shift was horrible on me as well. It was really baggy above the waist and below the waist. As was the blouson dress. I also have my eye on the jeweled cady dress, but the only color available in my size is the pumpkin. I’m wondering if I can carry that color as I have pale skin with yellowish undertones and am a dark blonde. Can anyone tell me how the jeweled cady is fitting as well? Thanks so much.
