That happened during the spring '08 online release too. This discrepancy I noticed was not between online and in-store, but on the website itself.

I had noticed that on the main page for dresses (or was it new arrivals?), the ruffle collar pique dress was $88, but on the page for the item itself, it was $78. I actually pointed this out to J.Crew customer service (I had sent them an email), and they replied with a "Thanks!" and an apology and gave me free shipping on my next purchase!

Buuut...I did notice that the price discrepancy stayed. While the dress was full price, anyway.

The featherweight merino sweaters are $10 less at my local store. However, I have often seen discounts from the websites on sweaters and jackets at my store. I just wish they would discount the cashmere!
