Lisa N. says: Okay…this is really confessions of an addict. I currently live in Switzerland and place really big JCrew orders before business trips to the US. I ship everything to my US home address (am on a 1 yr rotation abroad). I ordered three tall suits, one navy, one grey stripe, and one black. I will have to give my review next month as I will not get to see them until March 18th!
In general, I love j crew business clothing. The cuts are consistent and I know what size to order year to year. I love the city fit. I find that the talls run a bit bigger for the same size, so if you are close to an 8 but really think a 10 looks more professional, an 8 tall will probably be perfect. (I learned this from trying on clothing in the store and then ordering the size I thought I needed in a tall only to have it arrive too large). I do wish they had more “feminine” business classic tops (with sleeves). The standard button down is sometimes boring.
