I was pleasantly surprised to check my snail mail the other day. Along with all the bills was a postcard sized mailer from J.Crew. The front side is the image pictured above, “A Spring Fling, Thank You…” from J.Crew!
When I opened it, I found a little red card for 25% off my entire J.Crew purchase from now until the April 30! How fantastic! J.Crew really does know how to brighten up a spring day.
This card reminded me of the other discounts J.Crew sent out last year: the same card for 25% off your purchase and a $50 gift card to thank customers.

I was surprised to get this in the mail, as I’d heard conflicting things about how people are selected to receive them. When I heard they were going out I didn’t even think for a second I’d end up with one. It was a *very* welcome surprise, though!
The store was packed with other shoppers who had the cards, and they all seemed to be friendly with the personal shopper (as I am) so that might tell you something. They had a lot of goodies, including the tee under the 3/4 cashmere cardigan that I’ve seen people admiring in a recent photo (way too busy IRL). I ended up with the Bengal Frankie shorts, which I’m now in love with.

I got one the other day; I was so excited I almost fainted. If I could use it online and combine it with an extra 30% off final sale items, that would REALLY rock. But hey, I will take it! Thanks Mickey!

I’m kind of surprised that I haven’t gotten one yet … I am a long-time cardmember and I do a lot of damage there, so I am not sure why they didn’t send me one
