J.Crew Matchstick Jeans on The Hills

On Monday night’s episode of The Hills, Lo was wearing the Matchstick jeans. I can admit that I do not own these jeans; however, I do own the stretch vintage matchstick cord, which are probably very similar in fit.

I really like how slim fitting they are. Because I am very petite, I look for pants that are fitted and not too billowy. These cords definitely meet those requirements. They hit low on the waist and look great paired with any fitted shirt or sweater. Their slim fit elongate the body and legs. And my five foot frame can use anything that adds height.

I had no idea you could actually shop for the clothes they wear! I don’t watch the show, so how would I, right? Pretty soon you’ll be able to just click the TV and order what they’re wearing.

I LOVE J. Crew’s Matchstick jeans!! I bought my first pair just a few weeks ago in the deep tone indigo. I can’t believe how slimming and flattering they are, even on my 5′5″ pear shaped figure. It seems like they suck you in in all the right places. Plus, I like how leg is more straight instead of tapered at the hem. These jeans look a million times better than other, much more expensive, designer skinny jeans I have tried on (and owned).

Molly: The website called Seen On focuses on what outfits were worn on television shows. It’s a great resource if you see something you like on a certain show and character. You can go to the website and see what they wore on a particular episode. It’s relatively helpful in directing you to where you can purchase it online.

Ashley: Have you tried the Matchstick cords? Do the jeans and cords have the same fit? If so, I have to try on (and probably buy) the jeans. They look great and are affordable compared to all the other denim options out there.

I haven’t tried on the cords yet. I haven’t yet decided if they are my style! But I plan on making an appointment with a PS, so maybe they will steer me in that direction.

But you should totally try the jeans!
