I’m going to NYC October 10th! Can’t wait to see the new store. My sister lives there so I told her to go ASAP to check it out. We’re looking for bridesmaid dresses and are so happy we won’t have to order online and can try the sizes in-store!!!

This store actually doesn’t open until October 10th I believe… was closed on 9/26 and the manager said 2 more weeks….

Hi LJ. Thanks for info. I am going to contact J.Crew to find out some more information.

I’ve been waiting to check it out the last few times I was in NYC…I will be there sometime in the next 2 weeks but I also heard it wasn’t open yet. Let us know what everyone finds out about the exact opening date. I am curious to see how it differs to the other large stores that already carry a lot of Collection pieces, complimented by non-Collection miscellaneous like scarves, ’stock’ cashmere eg Classic Cardigans etc….

Can anyone let me know what is the difference of Jcrew collection between Jcrew ready to wear?

Hi Renee, the J.Crew Collection has one-of-a-kind, limited edition pieces. The pieces usually have higher prices points and do sell out quickly.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about the J.Crew Collection. I own very many J.Crew Collection pieces and they are beautiful.

You can read about some of them in this post.
