Those of you who own this trench.. can you tell me a little bit about the material? When I felt the fabric in store (couldn’t try it on because they didn’t have my size), the fabric seemed to be very stiff and somewhat thick and heavy. I want a trench that is less stiff and heavy..

The fabric is a bit stiff, sorry to say I purchased a fabulous black trench at BR last season, wore it all winter and spring, they’re getting their fall line in as we speak. Now for an A+ to J.Crew; while I was exchanging an item today they were merchandising a new shipment of sweaters; a two tone gray and white merino wool animal print, unbelievably cute @ $88.00. Hope this is just the beginning of their unusual printed sweaters for the season. Hurry girls, these will not last!

Sweater is not available online, have you been to the store lately…they have several items that I’ve not seen online. Another cute item is a vintage beaded logo tee with an “apothecary” advertisement; remember the “candy tees” from last year, similar to those. I don’t particularly like in store shopping but JC sizing seems off this season, so I make occasional trips to the store to try on my favorite items for later purchase. According a JC employee, the stores are trying to attract clients by offering items that we don’t see online. Marketing!
