Shop at Madewell 1937 If You Can’t Shop at J.Crew

Madewell For ShopBop

J.Crew’s sister brand, Madewell 1937, has partnered with ShopBop to create a limited edition collection only available through the online store.

Personally, I have never been to a Madewell, as there are only eleven locations in the United States. Also, Madewell’s website is not an e-commerce website. It serves as more of a Look Book for the brand.

This seems like a test run to see if there is any online interest in the Madewell brand. If J.Crew’s current website is any indication of what is to come with a fully functional Madewell site, I will probably not be shopping there online.

I love the look of the striped cardigan. I have one not too far away at Tysons and keep meaning to stop in but I haven’t yet. It definitely seems to skew a bit younger (i.e. away from my demographic) than regular J Crew.

I’m not a big fan of the Madewell look so far. J.Crew is much more my style and definitely my most favorite brand in the whole world! lol.
