J.Crew’s sister store, Madwell 1937, has been promising an online shop for quite some time now. Last year, ShopBop began to carry some Madewell items online. Now, you can also shop Madewell items at J.Crew!

What are your thoughts on Madewell? Have you purchased any of these items?

To be honest, I always feel disappointed by the Madewell items. I never feel like the quality is as good as the J.Crew line. I think I’m in the minority because I’m simply not bowled over by it. I adore J.Crew; Madewell is just not for me.

Just recieved Madewell Motorcycle boots-found them by mistake thru some J.Crew/Madwell blog-they are beautiful-much more refined than the J.Crew biker boot in every aspect-leather, lining, line. The J.Crew boot is much more "Vintage", the Madewell more "city". On the Madewell, pull and secure the strap to the tightest setting-makes for a longer last-if you like that look.

I still love the J.Crew boot for everyday-wear- great with old jeans-so hip for an older lass who lives on an island and is soooo shopping deprived!
