I am all set with paying $350 for cotton canvas.

  3. Ashley

It’s for a man? I’d carry it to the city or county for the weekend.

shopper, if that’s sarcasm, then I’m with you. This bag is ridiculously overpriced.

I like the design of this bag (for myself – not just for men I think!), but agree w/ the cotton canvas for the high price remarks. Also, I’m way less tempted b/c of the color of the canvas as well – how on earth can you keep that thing from looking dirty over time? Can’t wash it b/c of all of the leather. If the canvas was in a darker color at least it wouldn’t show dirt as much … and only then would I be tempted if it ever went on sale! Ha!

This item does nothing for me at all. Yay, I just saved $350. :-)

I agree with you puglady, the bag does nothing for me either. I won’t be buying it.

jcrew always does great, unique collaborations with other companies.
why do people still shop at banana republic? they never offer anything new

While I love J.Crew, Banana Republic does offer a different perspective on style and choice. They have lovely silk blouses, tops and dresses with bold colors and vibrant patterns. A bit more conservative in their overall look which bodes well for working women and the slightly older set that prefers to make a more subtle fashion statement. I think they’re both great stores!
