Michelle Obama Spotted in J.Crew (& Lanvin) Again!

Wednesday marked the 100th day of the Obama administration. As we all know, Michelle Obama has had a love affair with J.Crew since before her husband took office. (Remember the Jay Leno show?)
On that day, Michelle Obama volunteerd at the Capital Area Food Bank. She was spotted wearing a J.Crew cardigan! I love that she can still look so great when she is casual.
See Michelle’s outfit below. She wore a J.Crew cardigan and Lanvin sneakers. (I got the cardigan and shoes right, but I am unsure about the capris. Please help if you can!)
Featherweight cashmere argyle cardigan, was $188.00, now $99.99, Item 11507
Summerweight chino cocktail capri, was $79.50, now $69.50, Item 12428
Lanvin Cap Toe Sneaker – Dark Blue, $540.00

I love that Mrs. Obama sports J.Crew so often, she is such a style icon already!

Pants are too tight. Don’t care for the shoes with this outfit. But that’s just me.

She looks great as always. She knows how to look elegant in casual settings which I think is really hard. As an aside, I can’t believe anyone would pay $540 for those sneakers. I would give maybe $50 for them if the color was really super.

I actually think the lady in the blue & white behind her looks a lot better. Love the cardigan though.

Pants. Too. Tiiiiiiiight.
I see where she was trying to go with the shoes (keeping it casual), but I don’t think the overall look was achieved.
A ballet flat & a larger size pant would have worked better.

Bethydearest , I agree w/you!!

Bethy- “the lady in the blue and white” would be Dr. Biden, Joe’s wife.
I think she looks amazing, as always. I don’t really care for the shoes, but I don’t get all the fuss about the price. Women spend twice as much (or more) on Manolos, Christian Louboutins, etc and no one is making that a national news story.

does anyone know the name of her stylist?

Not a fan of the first lady’s wardrobe or “style”.

If you pay $540 for a pair of shoes – they should be gorgeous. These shoes are awful.
