J.Crew updated its website tonight to show a new homepage, showcasing the New Arrivals. Liya Kebede is also featured on the front cover of the new April catalog. Click here to see it online.
Does your local store already have the New Arrivals out? Have you already tried on some fun items? If so, please share!
And if you are shopping online, don’t forget about the J.Crew free shipping codes!

Such a disappointment from a guy’s viewpoint. The “new arrivals” on the site, with the exception of maybe 3-5 items, are the same exact things that were “new” last month. They have really lost their way with the men’s assortment since the fall. I am as targeted of a customer as you can get for their brand, but in this economy, just producing the very same styles season in and season out is not going to inspire me to make any new purchases. I completely understand classics, but they have got to give me some newness at the same time, within their aesthetic, of course. The last thing I need is another pair of chinos (just re-named from last season, but the same color, fabric and fit), another pique polo in the same color palette as before, or a pair of plaid shorts that look the same every summer. Get with it J. Crew!

I like your blog and wanted to say keep up the good work. Do you plan on posting more soon?

I agree – not an exciting month for guys (even the layout of the men’s section seems rather dull – I much prefer when the catalogue tells a “story,” like the Road Trip theme), but the Lightweight Poplin Camp Shirt – one of the few new items – looks great. I’m excited to order that, at least.

I waited with anticipation for the April catalog , but also ,do not think there are enough new items. I now have to wait until the May catalog and hopefully there will be more in that. Another thing, I know pencil skirts are all in right now, not everyone looks great in them or in mini’s. I wish when they come out with either of those styles they would also make belle skirts in the colors they make the pencil or mini’s .

I just got my new catalog today and wasn’t overly impressed by a lot of the new styles. However, I did really like the Cotton Cashmere Ruffle cardi, the Ringspun Ruffle Short Sleeve Painter Henley, and the Merino Flutter Trim Tunic! They just opened up a new store near me so I will be going to check out some of the styles in person.
