The Delfine Pencil Skirt From J.Crew

I visited my local J.Crew store today to take advantage of my red 25% off discount card one last time. Although I don’t really need any new clothes right now, I tried on some new arrivals for fun including the Delphine pencil skirt.

I was drawn to this skirt because of its bright color and the fabric has some really great detailing on it when examined closely. I tried on my regular size and found that it fit true to size.

However, once I put the skirt on, I didn’t like it too much. The stripes are actually too bright. And the fact that they are horizontal just made everything look wider. This skirt is very interesting, but I had to pass.

Have you tried on the Delfine pencil skirt? What are your thoughts on this skirt?

I absolutely LOVE the Delfine Skirt. I was in the store not really planning on using the 25% card and when I saw it and immediatly got it. I must admit that I probably would not have thrown all caution to the wind if I didn’t have the 25% card w/ me..lol! (I absolutely love the combination and although I am healthier on the bottom and horizontal stripes should not be my selection – the thought never crossed my mind as its so beautiful!)
