The Rosette Tee From J.Crew

Rosette tee, $195.00, Item 14855
I recently tried on the Rosette tee from J.Crew at my local store. From far away, the rosette tee just looks likes a blue mess. Up close, you can see that the flowers are actually very intricate. A lot of work went into this piece, but it is a pass for me.
In case you are interested, I took my normal size in this tee. It also hits at the hips.
Have you tried on this top? What are your thoughts on the Rosette tee?

It was one of the things I thought I would buy from the new arrivals with the recent 20% off. However, I was able to try it on in the Soho store and it sort of looked flat on me (it looked better on the website). I’m petite and I think it was overwhelming on me. It would look fab on someone taller. It is very well made and I loved the intricate details. I think it is well-priced compared to a comparable Leifsdottir blouse for example. I actually like the more unique pieces that Jcrew is turning out like the Milla tank. I would rather buy one good piece than many thin tees and cardigans I can buy elsewhere.

The tee reminded me of a dress my mum made for me when I was young. Thanks for highlighting it.

Thanks for the pics. I really like this tee. It is so distinctive. I agree with Maria in that I do prefer the really unique items that get noticed.
