This email from J.Crew this morning prompted me to visit my local store, even though the fine print of the discount message says, “30% off discount applies to purchases on our sale site only.” I simply was in the mood for instant gratification. And with J.Crew card currently paid off, I was ready to shop again.
When I walked into the store, I felt as if everything was on sale! I picked up the Crystal button starlet jacket in the bright azul.
$238.00, Item 94904
To my (very happy) surprise, it was marked much cheaper than on the website. It was stickered at $89.99 with an additional 25% off. I was astonished and quickly searched for and grabbed my size. I did not want anyone to snatch it up before I did.
Adding to the price perk was the fact that I was able to try the jacket on and really consider owning since it was final sale purchase.
I have noticed many price discrepancies in my time shopping at J.Crew. Has anyone else experienced this? Has item been marked cheaper in the store than on the website? Or cheaper on the website than in the store?
