How about I saw the Lucinda dress and fell in love with it. I saw it featured on ‘Say Yes to the Dress.’ I totally want to buy the dress! I need to try it on though (as I am shaped oddly). I don’t know if I need a 6 or an 8.
Also, I’m not thrilled with the $2500 price tag. But the dress fits perfectly with my simple and elegant wedding theme! Love, love, love the pockets!

Alex says: Lucinda Gown for sale for 1699 plus shipping (have to charge shipping because the box is large and on the heavier side). This has been greatly reduced. I am also including a cute flower sash absolutely free. The flower can be removed and used as a hair clip. Great dress that you can do a lot with. Don’t miss out!

It IS from the Fall 2006 collection, so doubtless it’s discontinued. However, as many of you know, finding the perfect wedding dress is quite a pilgrimage, and I see the end of my pilgrame in this dress. So, I’m quite keen on getting my hands on it. I’m willing to gather as many pictures as I can and have someone attempt to make it, but first I’d like to try to get an original. As brides.com has so kindly decided to leave out the dress name or number, I have no idea what to search for. “Romantic goddess” is just a nickname brides.com gives it to make it part of one of their themed collections. So …if anyone has any sort of information, even just the name, PLEASE.

I was just married in October 2009 and am looking to sell my lightly used JCrew Lucinda gown. I absolutely adore this dress, and would love to keep it, but I must be “fiscally responsible.” Blah.
Anyway, it’s gorgeous and like I said, lightly worn. Literally – I wore it for 3 hours; once we sat down to eat, I switched into my party dress. It’s in perfect condition, just dry-cleaned.
It was tailored to fit a 00 body-type and has an italian bustle. I originally purchased it for 2500 and am selling it for 1700 to the right owner. =)

The gown was so fantastic and beautiful. I like there design because it so simple and elegant to see. I hope some of the gown is there in the catalog. Thank you for the picture that ou post in your blog.
I am on the petite side and I think it's full ball skirt might have drowned me. have tried on countless gowns in search of the perfect one, and I was about to settle for one when I saw that J. Crew makes wedding dresses. Thank you for this blog I really find what I want.
The Daphne gown and had the good fortune to snag one before they all sold out! It is even more stunning in person and has these wonderful hidden side pockets. It is a beautiful dress that I has a reduced priced.
